I got my first good break in the business when I was hired at Leonard, Monahan, Lubars and Kelly in Providence, Rhode Island. I spent six great years there under David Lubars and David Baldwin, respectively, where I racked up awards on clients such as Polaroid, Keds and Bauer.
In 1999, I accepted a Group Head position at Fallon, where I did award-winning work for United Airlines, as well as work for Starbucks and EDS. I returned to New England to work at Mullen and Arnold Worldwide, where I worked on Marshall Fields, Silk Soymilk and Celebrity Cruise Lines. After years of circumventing Madison Avenue for smaller independent shops, I relented and reinvented my career by packing up daughter, husband, cat and dog and making the move to Lower Manhattan in 2004, where I worked with Kevin Roddy at Euro RSCG on Volvo and Evian. I was ultimately tempted back by David Lubars to take a Senior Creative Director’s position at BBDO, where I ran The Art of Shaving and Johnson’s Baby while working on Ebay, The Economist, AT&T, Band-Aid, Campbells, Bacardi and Johnson & Johnson.
Over the years, I have become one of the most awarded writers in the business. And I have had the great good fortune to work with some of the world’s best art directors. I have over 25 One Show Pencils, four Kelly Finalists, Cannes Gold Lions, along with numerous CA awards, ADC cubes, D&ADs, and Andys. Regularly asked to judge award shows, I have served as a One Show judge five times. I currently serve on the board of The One Club for Creativity.
